WeatherCat Version 3.3.0 Now Available
We are pleased to announce the release of WeatherCat 3.3.0.
Changes since version 3.2.0 are as follows:
- Native Apple Silicon Support.
- WeatherLinkLive station driver stability improvements.
- Fix a crash that could happen generating custom web pages on MacOS Sonoma
- Fixed a bug whereby station comms may stop if the ‘Station Hardware Options’ window is displayed.
- Removed the Netatmo station driver which is no longer supported after API changes on the Netatmo side.
- FTPS compatibility improvements.
- Removed the SQL driver from the AppleSilicon build, still present in the Intel build.
- Mail sending has been moved off the main thread. This will avoid the situation where WeatherCat could hang until mail sending timed out (if for example, there is a problem with the configuration or the mail server is not reachable/responding).
- Removed Twitter functionality.
- Updated the user manual.
- The minimum required operating system version is now OS X 10.13.
WeatherCat V3.3.0 is available for immediate download or if you are running WeatherCat V3.0.0 or later, you can wait for the update notification within WeatherCat to auto update.
